Mentor Progress Review

Each Founder will present their company in front of a panel of Mentors and get graded on 3 metrics: product or offering progress, presentation quality and completeness of the financial model. You will have 3 minutes to present the company with a PowerPoint deck, and you will have another 3 minutes to discuss the product development plans, including the Product Roadmap, Estimation and technology decisions. Mentors will ask questions and then rate Founders on a scale of 1-5 in each category with 5 being the best possible score. Any Founder that scores an average of 2.0 or below may be asked to leave the program and re-enroll in a future semester. Any Founder with a score below 3.0 may be given a challenging Special Assignment or be asked to re-enroll. There are the following assignments after the session. Include a link or links to the work required in your Special Assignment in the “Mentor Progress Review” assignment field before the additional work described below. 1. (Updated Pow

Write the name of the solution, provide the URL to access the offering, and write 1 paragraph that describes the 1 key feature that each offering launched with. Update your Market Research worksheet sheet from "Research and Customer Development" with the companies. 2. (Product Roadmap) Organize a product brainstorming session with your Advisors, coworkers, friends and / or Working Group members to create a prioritized set of features to develop next. Try the following methodology. During the session, write down a series of “Features” that you want your ultimate offering to have on sticky notes. Then, organize the Features on sticky notes into logical “Groups,” which may be in categories like “Registration” or “Search.” Next, on a wall, place the important Features on top of less important Features vertically

(Identify Advisors) Identify 2 different types of experienced Advisors that will be able to provide feedback on your business from different points of view. Write the desired industry and background for each target Advisor, and identify at least 3 potential candidates for each. Write each candidate's name, title, company, email address, and Linkedin link or biography. These Advisors may include FI Mentors. 2. (Recruit Advisors) Contact each of the Advisor candidates about helping to work on your Product Definition below, which will be a test of the relationship.
